Emma Rose Evans made her debut in acting at the age of four years old by participating in theatrical plays. Since then, her interests and accomplishments have expanded beyond a horizon that she couldn’t even dream of before. Currently twenty one years old, the young artist lives just outside Los Angeles, California. Her fans describe her as a down to earth, inspiration.
In 1999, she was offered a role in a commercial advertising a theatrical production that would appear on television. She turned down the play however she agreed to the commercial and soon after she fell in love with film acting and wanted to pursue it. She participated in her first movie role in the beginning of 1999 at the age of 12, playing the lead role of Samantha ‘Sam’ Montgomery in a student film called The Case of the Missing Bulldog Head. She had such a huge passion for acting, for her 13th birthday she received a camcorder from her grandma to make her own home movies. She made more than 25 films during those four years with her friends and continues to make them today.
After graduating high school, in 2005, she started her own independent production company called Whoa! Ducky Productions and began to work on her first film called Scandals, Lies, Hollywood“Bonjour!” that she started in 2008 with her friend Laura Daley for YouTube. (originally titled Untold: The Secret Life of Celebrities). They are currently on hold with the production. Emma hopes to start filming sometime before 2011 due to lack of time. In 2006, she was cast in three productions including Zombies Ate My Prom Date, a indie horror film about zombies invading a senior prom due out in 2009. The other two productions were unfortunately dropped by the production companies and never made. In 2007, she decided to concentrate a bit more on modeling rather than acting and did many runway shows, photo shoots and promotional modeling for fashion designers including Kami Shade, a celebrity fashion designer, photographers, and clothing lines such as Cutesy Shoes!
By the time 2008 came around Emma decided she wanted to do more acting rather than modeling and this year has put all her effort into attending auditions and balancing school. In January she made a brief appearance in one scene for the film The God’s of Circumstance, which she is not credited for. In April of 2008 she took part in a “Support Obama ‘08!” commercial for the democratic website MoveOn.org. In March she was offered a role in a film called Miar Vociche playing Holli an emotional teenage girl who falls in love with her best friend; Emma wrote her scenes for the film. In June of 2008, she filmed a 7 minute trailer playing the lead of Alicia White in a horror called “Ghostclown” as well as took the role of Diana a groupie/pothead for a band in One In Seven Million. In August, she played Sara, in a student film called “The Music Box” a story of a ballerina who killed herself when she learned she couldn’t dance anymore. In September she made an appearance in her favourite band, Fall Out Boy’s music video for their single “I Don’t Care” off their 4th full length studio album “Folie A Deux” out in store December 16, 2008; And finally, in October of 2008 she participated in a haunted house for a Halloween party playing the role of “Suicidal Girl” and was the lead dancer in a band called Serrated’s music video for their song “The Horror Infinite“.
In January of 2009, Emma will begin to film her second lead role in a feature film called The Los Angeles Ripper which is the story of Kristy White (Evans) moving to her cousin’s house in California from the east. Soon after moving, her cousin and friends are slowly murdered by a stalker. As well as filming a webisode as the co-lead role of Molly a crime fighter in “The Bikini Crime Fighter”. Lastly Emma has taken a co-starring role in a web series called Forever Seventeen. Not only will Emma be acting, but she is also helping produce the project with Whoa! Ducky. Shooting is beginning in February of 2009.
Emma continues to have fun making her own projects, plans to work on her crew work/behind the scenes of films as well as get her BA degree in digital media, while producing an upcoming clothing and accessory line called I’m A Jerk Industries.
